Wally Nicita is a 35 plus-year veteran of the film industry. Her career began as a casting director, and she cast over 30 films including such huge hits as, ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ, CADDYSHACK, BODY HEAT, THE BIG CHILL, THE WITCHES OF EASTWICK and THE FABULOUS BAKER BOYS. She gave life to the careers of such notables as Christina Ricci, Mickey Rourke and Kevin Costner. Through her numerous projects, Wally became well known to actors of all ranks, the major and independent film studios; and most every director, producer, agent and manager in Hollywood, thereby earning herself legendary status before turning her talents to producing films.

Wally has produced several films including MERMAIDS starring Cher, Winona Ryder and Christina Ricci, THE BUTCHER’S WIFE starring Demi Moore and Jeff Daniels, and SIX DAYS, SEVEN NIGHTS with Harrison Ford and Anne Heche. Currently she is producing KILLER INSTINCT, CHASING THE DRAGON, ABYSSINIA, SAVAGE GARDEN and CUBA AND THE NIGHT.

Wally was born in New York City and raised in Lake Forest, IL. and attended Connecticut College. Upon graduation, she taught creative writing to inner city children in Brooklyn. She trained with acclaimed casting directors Marion Dougherty and Juliet Taylor and went on to head casting at Warner Bros. Studios and then Paramount Pictures. Wally was the recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award in casting in 2002. She is a member of the Academy Of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.

Dopey Cowboy Films LLC is in the business of producing motion pictures and is currently raising capital to develop and produce a feature length film with the working title, Perfect Cover.  Investors are only responsible for the amount of money they decide to invest, and are not accountable for other debts or obligations.
